I don’t have the energy today to write the big post I wanted to. I was going to tell you all about the mass I couldn’t go to and the mass I could and why and it was gonna be really cool. But I’m just tuckered out. I figured I should say something, though, since I haven’t written yet in May.
It’s Mother’s Day tomorrow and my family is taking me to a Pirates game in Pittsburgh. I love baseball and Jess and I have a goal of seeing a game in every MLB stadium together. This will be number 7. Later this summer, we’ll add number 8 and hopefully number 9 to the list. Things to be hopeful for.
If you can’t tell, I’m feeling rather emo today. No particular reason why (it’s mainly a state of being, anyway). Just overwhelm with the world and my place in it and what I’m supposed to do. I hope this suffices. One funny thing, Grok (Twitter/X’s AI) told me I write like Max Bemis of Say Anything. Now that’s a true delight!
Anyway, try to have lovely weekends. And don’t be an American idiot!
If you’d like to leave me a little tip, buy me a coffee (or energy drink), Venmo and PayPal are always welcome. God bless yinz.
